What is “ZiRKON”?

ZiRKON is a sprue bushing with a ceramic insulation plate placed where the nozzle of the injection machine touches.

ZiRKON stabilizes the temperature of the injection machine’s nozzle tip. This prevents nozzle congestion, without causing abnormally high temperatures or stringiness.
